According to W3.org, the first web page created is dated back to: Tuesday, November 13, 1990 7:17:00 AM
I remember that I was 8 years old when I first got on the web, that makes me only 3 years shy of being on the Internet as long as it has existed.

Whoa, one of the files that is linked to (and apparently a link was a big thing) has a SND extension, and it’s supposed to be a sound. But 404’s on me.
Never heard of SND…

I think there were definitely other protcols in place before 1990 for the “internet”, but this is the first webpage created within the “internet.”
