Ok, seriously, enough is enough. Google keeps trying to pry its way into the Internet Explorer 7.0 (IE7) browser.
Google Inc. said Monday that it wants Microsoft Corp. to make sure users can easily choose Internet search engines in future products — but Google refused to say if changes Microsoft has already made to its upcoming operating system, Vista, have gone far enough.
Why should Google have any say at all in what the browser uses, interface-wise. Google seriously needs to back off. As much as I love Google, they’re taken it too far. Microsoft’s IE7 and Windows Vista is owned by Microsoft. Google should not have any say no matter what about what they put in their own browser.
They keep bringing up antitrust laws and what not, but honestly, Google, make your own product and use your own search engine. Do you think Microsoft would come after you saying “Google, use our MSN Live engine instead or at least make it easy to use.” No, of course not, Microsoft would never come to Google saying that. Google needs to back off.
