There have been a couple release candidates of Windows Vista already. Internet Explorer 7.0 (IE7) comes default with it, no longer pushing the IE6 platform. The default search for IE7 was using Live.com, Microsoft’s new internet portal for search and security. Google had a large problem with their default search being on Live.com instead of google.com.
Honestly though, if I was creating software, I would want to use my own search engine for it. Microsoft, for a reason I don’t know, is complying to the demands of Google. Google wants to be the default search engine for IE7 which just means more traffic to Google and more money for Google.
The search function in the Internet Explorer 7 browser won’t automatically use Microsoft’s Windows Live search engine. Search engine giant Google has objected to that default choice.
