Google Blogsearch is now offering a pinging service for blogs, such as Technorati and Pingomatic have been offering. Just like any other pinging service, it allows blogs to let Blogsearch know when a specific site has been updated. You can read all the nitty gritty about the pinging service and how to set up for it.
