Shoemoney wrote a good article on contact courtesy. While he didn’t label it as such, essentially that’s what it is. I think it’s a really good read. So many people today in the business world use words like “u” and “i” and “r u 4 real?” and such, it really drives me crazy. We are in America (where I live at least), so use proper English, please.
I do have to admit though, at one point I used to be like that. I no longer conform to those ways and I use complete sentences and complete words. It’s really a trait everyone should have if they are even considering going into the business world.
