Some good insight that Google may be releasing a new service in the future, possibly API related.
Update: After looking at some of the domains, the one that particularly gets my interest is searchmash.com. It’s not just a domian that Google owns, but it’s actually a site. While most (all) of the other domains are simply there, searchmash.com is an actual site.
