Google Video finished up an agreement with the UC Berkeley to offer courses via Google Video. Berkeley is the first university to have its own Google Video page.

Initially, the university has put up a library of more than 250 hours of video for public viewing. Most of it previously was not available online, Google CEO Eric Schmidt said. News.com

So what kind of affect does this have on the way learning can be done? It changes everything. While you still can’t get a degree just from watching these videos, it does allow for people to become more informed and better educated even without a degree. For those people that once could have not had an education or teaching to this degree, it has now become a viable opportunity for them.
