Philipp puts out a good word here about becoming a Google Beta Tester. I just finished my application a few minutes ago for it.
Q: Do I get paid?
A: Yes – it depends on the type of study, but typically we pay $75 for each hour that you spend with a Google researcher, either in person or on the phone. Most studies last for one to one-and-a-half hours. We don’t pay for your travel time, or travel expenses, though. For online surveys, which you complete from your own computer, the amount varies, depending on the length of the survey.Study FAQ
This would be great if I got paid to do what I love to do anyway, test Google products. I’m always signing up for betas and testing them out, such as Writely or Picasa Web Albums. Google is always coming out with great products, I suggest you sign up if you’re in the least bit interested in doing this.
