It seems Google is dropping the text links above the search form field. At flickr there are more screenshots.

This looks too dumb to be an actual Google design experiment.

I agree, It’s really kinda dumb I think. There’s no reason to have all that extra crap on there, they need to keep it simple, just how they’ve always had it.
