Google has purchased Neven Vision, a Santa Monica-based firm that provides image recognization software, according to a post on the search engine giant’s blog this morning. (via)
Costs and related items were not diclosed about the deal, but this just goes on to add another company owned by Google. Image recognition software…what could this be used for next? This might be a bigger push to move the Google technology on a more widely used mobile platform.
